Yesterday i recieved the developed film from my SLR.
It was deffinately a let down. But here are the few that i like, that were taken / set up by me.
This is funny. It was an accident taken at frances' house. I accidentally clicked the shutter, but i kinda like it. The light is nice, and that dark semi-circle at the bottom is her head.
This is Jess and I on the rocks at the beach in Port Maquarie. I set this up on a tripod.

This was taken out the front of my house.
This was also taken out the front of my house, but on a different day and with dear barbara.

Friday 16th Jan

This morning we had to wake up early to get ready for our sad departure. We gave in the keys and set out on the road. I'm going to miss Port Maquarie so much. Not even the area, but the people we met too, Specially the awesome tattoo guy, whom i still do not know the name of, so i can't just go back later, because the same people won't be there anymore :(. We drove for about 3 hours while Jess and I simultaneously slept and listened to music. We had lunch and then drove until we reached somersby where we picked up our beautiful new kitten and left behind our handsome , supposed-to-be, new kitten; Leonardo, as well as submerging ourselves in the adorableness of the other cats and kittens.

It was so sad, i wished with all my heart that we could have taken both of them. It was only about an hour left of the drive. We dropped Jess home before returning home ourselves, when we tried to settle the new baby girl in and unpacked; always a negative experience. After the rest of our animals were dropped home from the kennels; an extremely positve and joyous experience. The rest of the night was spent trying to get the two cats to get along. We havn't progressed much but hopefully they'll be okay with eachother soon.

Wednesday 14th / Thurday 15th Jan

Thursday
Today, after waking up we quickly ate and discussed our day plan. We wanted to go to the beach, pool, movies, pool && table tennis tables, out to dinner and spa. We went to the beach first, dropped dad off at the grassy area and Jess and I went down to the beach. We stood around letting the waves splash up our legs before deciding to investigate the rest of the beach area. In our explorations, through the set of rocks at the end of the beach we discovered a secret mini beach with gloriously beautiful rock pools.

We stayed there for awhile, basking in the beauty and serenity of it all. A few other explorers came upon us and this nice guy offered to take photos for us. After deciding that my father might be worried now if he went to look for us on the real beach, we left and met up with mum and dad to have lunch at the bowling club. Then we went home and watched a movie in our hotel. As ‘Bride Wars’ wasn’t playing until 7:20pm, we decided to use the rest of our time for table tennis and pool. We played Table Tennis while the pool tables were in use. Then when they were free we put our money in, but only half the balls we could see came out, as Jess didn’t know you had to hold the bar in the Table for 3 seconds to let them all out. So we walked around the Table pondering what to do, when the cool tattoo guy came to our rescue and tried to help us. In the end we said we’d go down to the front desk, and he just put his own money in and said to have a game on him. It was so nice. So the rest of the balls in the display came out. But there was still not enough to fill up the triangle and the white ball was also missing. So he was like “what? They’re still not all there?” and we’re like, naah, 4 balls are missing. We’ll just go to the front desk.” And he’s like. “Why don’t you just play 5 ball or something? I don’t think the front desk can do much.” “ahah, naah, it’s ok, last time the white ball was stuck they sent someone.” *goes to front desk, who tell us they’ll send someone. Comes back* “They’re sending someone.” “You’re really going to wait 40 minutes for a game of pool?” “lol yeah.” And the guy came around five minutes later and we got our game and the extra money back, which we gave back to the tattoo guy. Soon after it was time to go to the cinema’s to see 'Bride Wars' (which i thoroughly enjoyed) where Who Should I see?? MADDIE FROM DANCIIING! I called her over and she and her family came and sat next to me and we caught up while the previews and adds were playing. She said she’s been there since Sunday which was only 2 days after we got there. What a pity we’re leaving tomorrow. After the movie Jess and I left mum and dad to go in the pool and spa and play last game of pool. When we went down the two guys who we awkwardly saw everywhere were sitting at the table right next to the pool though, so we didn’t want to swim, and the spa was behind them so we didn’t want to spa. They kinda wrecked a lot for us by exsisting. So we just played pool until 10:00 when everything closed. Then went to let mum and dad in as we took their key. And we all went upstairs together. Jess and I had our dinner, as mum and dad already went out for dinner, and we watched ‘Wall-E’ before falling asleep. I really loved it. He's just so gorgeous. I have a thing for creatures that can't speak i think. Probably because they have to show they're emotions and meanings through creative, adorable ways.
Wednesday
This morning, post awakening we consumed our energy substances you humans call food and were out the door, heading to Coffs Harbour. It was a 2 and a half hour drive. We got there and shopped around for a bit whilst receiving random dirty/ up-down looks from female teen civilians. I bought a top and a bag from sports girl, two tops from jay jays and 4 books from a book warehouse. Wow I love books J They included 1884 for English this year –It has a really nice cover-, Dexter –First book of the series-, A movie selection book, which I need to get through and a Film book. Then we went to check if ‘Bride Wars’ was playing at the local cinema (it wasn’t), before going to the pet store where we all fell in love with this adorable male labradoodle. Then it was back home for us. We listened to the old music that I love in the car, I will soon post a play list of my favourites for those who would like to get a better understanding of what I mean by ‘Old’. When we got home we bought KFC for dinner, ate and Jess and I headed downstairs, after taking halway-lift photos
we played 2 games of pool, the front desk being closed, so we couldn’t play table tennis. Instead, we came upstairs and took many-a balcony photos.

Now we’re watching ‘That 70’s Show’ as usual and will soon be asleep.

Tuesday 13th Jan

Early this morning Jess and I woke up for delicious pancakes by the poolside, accompanied by a lovely hash brown. We then took a sun warmed stroll down to the little cinema to see what was on and check the timetable. We decided to see ‘Bolt’ because
1) I’ve been secretly wanting to &
2) Because it was most convenient, time wise, if we wanted to go to the beach.
We then proceeded to a game of pool, followed by some table tennis before heading back up to the unit to grab our things so as to set out again to the cinemas for our movie. I really liked it, although I kept picturing Miley Cyrus acting instead of the animated girl which annoyed me as I don’t care for her too much. Other than that it was trĕs enjoyable. After that, the unit was the place to be, relaxation wise, until it was time to beach it around 3:30pm when the sun wouldn’t be too hot. We stayed at the beach for a few hours, jumping and flying in the big waves. I only got dumped twice, and it wasn’t even so much dumping as it was me not having control of myself under a wave and allowing it to pull me in towards the sandy shore. Once we had had enough, a little while after the life guards had taken the flags down, we left the beach and met mum and dad at a café for a short 10minute coffee break before buying some dinner. We ate in the unit and watched TV for quite awhile. We then went down and played table tennis with dad, until he went back to the unit and Jess and I had one more game of pool.

We’re kind of addicted now. Then we went back home to shower, still being sandy from the beach. I consumed some warm Milo while watching ‘The History Boys’ and we will soon drift into unconsciousness, preparing us for tomorrow.

Monday 12th Jan

Today we woke up, had breakfast and walked down to the tennis courts having booked a 10:00am session. We played til about 10:50am as we had the court for an hour. Then we went shopping at the nearby complex before having a nice lunch at ‘Winkeys’ again and I had a nice big milkshake. Jess and I went back to the hotel and relaxed (I fell asleep for a bit) and then went to the ‘games and trivia night’ that was on to have fun and meet new people after taking ‘scary movie hotel’ photos in the hallway.
We met a nice family of 3 and also conversed with lots of people in accordance with the first game which was a version of bingo where you have to find people who match the statement in the box and write their name down. It turned out to be quite enjoyable. They also had karaoke. Then we went and played pool before going in the pool with some people from the games/trivia night, (of which, unfortunately, no games were won by us,) until we went up for dinner. Then we travelled back downstairs for one more game of pool, came back up to our room and we are now watching ‘That 70’s Show’ before going to bed early so Jess and I can wake up for ‘Pancakes by the Poolside’ That we booked for ourselves.

Sunday 11th Jan

This morn we awoke to ‘Max’ on TV, had a nice breakfast and went to the beach, not planning to swim as we couldn’t stay long, Mel and Jacob having to depart. It was really lovely although my shorts got wet unfortunately which isn’t exactly my idea of comfort, but we stood watching the waves lap around us, and observing the sea as it smashed against the rocks and sprayed over onto Mel and Jacob. Afterwards we strolled down to ‘Winkys’ for lunch and I had a really nice toasted tuna sandwich and half a toasted chicken, avocado and cheese sandwich. Then we went home and helped Mel and Jacob put their stuff in the car before seeing them off. I’m going to miss them. It’s really fun having a bigger group of people on holidays, even though the sleeping arrangements weren’t exactly luxurious. I’d rather that with them here, rather than a giant comfy bed with them gone. They left and we watched movies and I put photos from the trip on my laptop until mum and dad came back from the shops, then Jess, Dad and I went down to the BBQ area to cook dinner. After dinner Jess and I went for a nice spa before relaxing in front of the TV and we’ll soon be going to bed.

Saturday 10th Jan

Today we woke up, had breakfast, took our daily balcony shot (it's ugly so no visual aid for you.) and headed out the door. We decided on some pampering and Mum said she’d shout all the girls mani/pedicures. We journeyed to the first beauty salon we could find (right out the front of our hotel) who didn’t have any openings but pleasantly directed us to a place that did. First we went to the shops to buy mum some thongs for the pedicure and jess and I bought a nice one-piece swimming costume each. We took the long march the lady said would be about 10-15 minutes, which in actualality ended up being about 20minutes to half an hour. But it was fun, I like Port Macquarie, it’s a nice little town. We arrived at the shopping mall and made an appointment. To exercise our time we went shopping. Mel bought me an iced chocolate from Gloria Jeans and I also got some nice shorts and a dress-ish top. Jess, Mel and I decided against our pedicures because apparently the swimming would take off our nail polish anyway, and would end up being a waste of money. We had lunch at Panthers and walked home, before exploring the beach in order to get our bearings on it’s location and to find out what it’s like. It was pretty nice. People had painted on lots of the rocks there and it looked really pretty. Upon arriving back at the unit, mum and Dad went out, we were going to go in the pool but after sitting down to relax we just couldn’t get back up, so we played electronic ‘Guess Who’ which was pretty darn awesome. After the congestion of people in the pool had calmed down we went in and yes, the water was lovely. Then we all went in the spa, before showering and dressing for dinner. We went to a Chinese restaurant and then went home and had dessert whilst playing ‘UNO’. Mum and Dad went to bed and Mel, Jacob, Jess and I continued to play before switching to ‘Scattegories’. I totally whooped everyone’s ass in that (Jacob being ultimate UNO champion). Then we put on ‘That 70’s Show’ and all fell asleep easily.

Port Macquarie.

I went to Port Macquarie for a week. Jess came with us and these are the photos i think are pretty. The ones with me in it were taken via tripod.
